Developer's Guide to Photo & Design Techniques in Action

by Mario Duilio Macari

It starts with photography, resolution, RGB and CMYK, continues with graphic design basics, and typography, then ends with color and the 4 basic principles of Visual Communication.

What you'll learn

This course shows developers the mysteries of using graphic design and photographic resolution for web or print reproduction. It gives you insight to the reasons why graphic designers behave the way they do. Now you'll understand the basics of design, color, reproduction, and typographic fundamentals even if you have no formal training in the graphic arts. It will help you to understand how to turn out a good looking web page or mobile app under deadline pressure. You will discover that good graphic design, much like Object Orientated Programming, uses abstractions, builds on existing smaller ideas, and uses the same problem-solving skills you already possess.
