Pluralsight LIVE: A lineup you won't want to miss

Pluralsight LIVE is less than two weeks away. We’re hosting our first-ever user conference September 19-21 in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah to bring together our expert community, leading businesses and technologists from around the world. We’re honored to host former First Lady Michelle Obama for a moderated conversation. She’s a role model, champion and inspiration for women, families and young people across America and around the world.

In addition to Mrs. Obama, we’re hosting a slate of inspiring thought leaders on our mainstage to talk about the future of technology, digital transformation and emerging trends. See Hadi Partovi, Founder CEO of Code.org, talk about the technology skills gap; Stack Overflow CEO Joel Spolsky on the future of software development; Tim Campos, Founder of Pulsra and former CTO of Facebook, on scaling data; and more. At our breakouts, you can learn about cloud, mobile, security and data from leading experts, and hear how our technology learning platform can help you identify and close critical skills gaps.

And of course, we’re scheduling plenty of time to network and have a good time with nightly parties and a performance by the X Ambassadors.

One of the things I’m most excited about personally is the impressive group of women speakers joining us. I’ve attended a ton of tech conferences over the years, and I rarely see a strong representation of women tech leaders. It’s no secret diversity and inclusion is a hot topic in the tech industry, and I’m proud that Pluralsight LIVE will give you the chance to hear from so many talented women. 

We’ve been adding new speakers frequently and below are some you may have missed. 

• Cynthia Maxwell (Director, iOS Engineering at Slack, Inc.) will speak on the future of mobile and devices.
• Karen Catlin (Advocate and coach for women in tech, former VP at Adobe) will discuss how to improve diversity in tech.
• Amber Ochoa (Program Manager at PIMCO) will share how she implemented a large-scale learning initiative for more than 80 teams.
• Julie Reddish (Happiness Engineer at Xero) will talk about how to overcome the challenges of scaling culture.
• Mylea Charvat (Neuroscientist, CEO & Founder of Savonix) will discuss the impact and changes in the digital health space.
• Kaitlyn Hova (Co-Founder of Hova Labs & Core Team Member at Women Who Code) will share how she’s leveraging technology to bring together school music and STEM programs.
• Nerushka Brown (Emerging Tech and Law Specialist, LegalTech Innovator) will shed light on the critical implications and legal risks associated with the rise of technology.
• Tania Katan (Author, CEO at Creative Trespassing, and Co-Creator of #ItWasNeverADress) will share her tips on overcoming the challenges and constraints that come with working in the fast-paced world of tech. 

We’re also hosting a Women in Tech networking lunch on Thursday, September 21 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Grand America. I hope anyone who cares about diversity and inclusion in the industry will join us.
