Code School Has Joined the Pluralsight Team

I’m happy to announce Code School has joined the amazing team at Pluralsight. Code School started less than four years ago with the mission of creating the best way to learn new technologies online. Since then, we’ve released more than 40 courses, worked with amazing companies like GitHub and Google, and built a talented team of almost 40 people in Orlando.

Most importantly, this new partnership allows us to focus on what we do best: innovating and building the best educational experiences technology can offer.

What Does This Mean for Code School?

Don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere. Our name won’t change and neither will our team.

Code School will continue to operate as we always have, building new courses and offering the best place to learn by doing. I’m still going to write silly jingles, we’re still going to release great courses, and our support team will still have your back if questions come up.

With more than 9,700 hours of video, we think you’ll find their content extremely complementary to the courses we create on Code School.

We’ve always admired Pluralsight and the amazing online tech and creative training library their team has assembled. The depth of content on their platform is nothing short of impressive, featuring a constant stream of new courses on development, IT, and creative topics. Pluralsight offers something for everyone, so if you choose to try out the training they offer, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

While visiting their site, you might notice Pluralsight has also partnered with educational brands like PeepCode, TekPub, and Digital-Tutors. Pluralsight is committed to innovation and has a knack for finding companies that complement each other. Needless to say, we’re in good company.

While the common goal of creating top technical training is what makes Code School and Pluralsight similar, our company cultures also align perfectly (as seen in these Inc. articles written by Pluralsight CEO Aaron Skonnard). The Code School team is excited to join Pluralsight and to broaden the learning experience we now offer.

What’s Next?

Code School and Pluralsight will remain two separate services that each focus on our technical training strengths. The two learning experiences complement each other well: Code School introduces topics in our learn-by-doing style, and Pluralsight gives you great depth when you’re ready to dive further into topics.
