- 3 courses
- 6 hours
In the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt skill path, you’ll learn how to implement an improvement project by deepening your understanding of the DMAIC methodology. By the time you finish this skill path, you will be able to work in any improvement initiative supporting certified Black Belts by becoming a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt yourself.
You’ll start by studying the Define phase from the DMAIC methodology and how to create a project charter. You’ll also learn how to define a project’s toolset, how to use a tollgate checklist and how to establish ground rules. All main tools and techniques related to each phase of the DMAIC methodology will be introduced and detailed in the present learning path.
Since statistics is central to Lean Six Sigma, you will also have the opportunity to learn how to create basic charts, use correlation and regression analysis and how to apply data to real world situations by studying advanced control charts and creating business friendly presentations.
Courses in this path
Beginner
In this beginner section we will cover all stages of the DMAIC methodology based on the main tools applied on each step.
Intermediate
In this intermediate section we will cover graphical analysis tools, x-bar control charts, statistical softwares and probability distribution - as well as correlation and linear regression analysis.
Advanced
In this advanced session we will cover how to apply Lean Six Sigma into real world situations by explaining non-normal continuous and discrete distributions applied to specific scenarios. Also, students will study hypothesis testing and sample testing.
