Pluralsight Named Winner in Inaugural 2016 SaaS Awards
The Company’s Disruptive Technology Learning Platform, Designed for Enterprises and Technology Professionals, Wins in Best SaaS Product for Web Development Category
SALT LAKE CITY – Pluralsight, the global leader in online learning for technology professionals, today announced it has been named the winner in the Best SaaS Product for Web Development category in the inaugural 2016 SaaS Awards Program.
Based on the criteria for this category, Pluralsight’s platform was recognized for being a solution that clearly meets the needs of developers. The company’s on-demand, cloud-based technology learning platform gives technology professionals the ability to benchmark their skills against industry peers, follow curated learning paths, learn through expert-authored courses, test drive new technologies via an interactive lab environment and access one-on-one mentoring.
“I couldn’t be more proud of our team’s unrelenting commitment to helping businesses and professionals keep up with the changing pace of technology,” said Aaron Skonnard, co-founder and CEO of Pluralsight. “This recognition from the SaaS Awards is a result of the dedicated Pluralsight community of employees, authors and mentors, and helps to shine a light on the importance of our mission to democratize professional technology learning.”
With a collection of over 5,000 video courses authored by more than 1,000 industry experts, Pluralsight’s end-to-end platform disrupts the traditional classroom model and provides a complete digital learning experience, arming enterprise technology teams with the ability to expand skills, increase productivity and move at the speed of technology.
The SaaS Awards program accepts entries worldwide, including the US, Canada, Australasia, UK and EMEA. More than 200 organizations entered the 2016 inaugural year for the SaaS Awards Program, which is partnered with the annual Cloud Awards, now entering its sixth year.
“After a lot of hard work, we are thrilled to be able to announce the final list of winners – a collection of some of the brightest and best solutions in the SaaS space today,” said SaaS Awards and Cloud Awards organizer Larry Johnson. “What makes us happier than anything else is to see such a varied mix of the excellence and innovation that quite literally covers the globe. It’s an international party to which any service offering is invited. We look forward to celebrating more excellence in the 2016-17 Cloud Awards, which is now open for submissions, and the 2017 SaaS Awards, which will open for submissions in late 2016.”
