Set Up Custom Logging in AWS CloudWatch
In this lab, you’ll practice installing and configuring the CloudWatch agent. When you’re finished with this lab, you’ll have the ability to connect any server with CloudWatch to enhance and centralize all your server logging.

Install the CloudWatch Agent
Download and install the CloudWatch agent software on a Linux server.

Create an IAM User with CloudWatch Permissions
Add a new programmatic user to the AWS account with the required permissions for running the CloudWatch agent.

Setup Server as if an On Prem Server
Configure the CloudWatch agent on the EC2 server as if it were not running in an AWS account.

Start and Validate Agent is Active
Start the agent check the agent logs and review console for server log data and metrics
