Deploy OT Honeypots
In this lab, you’ll configure a honeypot that closely resembles a fuel tank monitoring system commonly used in the oil and gas industry. When you’re finished, you’ll understand the value of deploying honeypots and the importance of configuring them to ensure they look realistic in their deployed environment. You’ll also analyze adversary interactions with the honeypot to understand attacker behaviors, motivations and intent.

Getting Started in the Lab Environment
Here are the initial instructions and explanation of the lab environment. Read this while your environment is busy creating itself from nothing. Yes, this violates physics; we know. How fun!
Challenge
Configure and Deploy GasPot
Configure a honeypot that has been designed to simulate a Veeder Root Guardian tank inventory monitoring system, so that it fits in with other infrastructure in the region it is being deployed.
Challenge
Analyze Honeypot Activity
Use Splunk to analyze interaction with the deployed honeypot, and gain insights to adversary behaviors and intent.
