Configure MFA on AWS with the CLI
In this lab, you’ll learn how to configure virtual MFA for an IAM user. When you’re finished with this lab, you’ll have MFA activated for the respective IAM user.

Challenge
Connect to an EC2 Instance and Configure AWS CLI
You will connect to an EC2 instance, and configure AWS CLI to execute the commands.

Create a Virtual MFA Device
You will create a new virtual MFA device for the AWS account.

Enable the MFA Device
You will enable the MFA device you just created, and attach it to the IAM user.

Verify Login to AWS Console with MFA
You will now use MFA at the time of login to access AWS Management Console.

Recommended prerequisites
- Knowledge of connecting to an EC2 instance.
- Using a Linux terminal (in other works, using a Linux command prompt or CLI)
- Knowledge of configuring AWS CLI.
- Authy app installed on your mobile device (a similar app will likely work)
