Daniel joined Fannie Mae in 2021 from Capital One, where he played a major role in their digital transformation through architecting, engineering, and supporting cloud infrastructure services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platforms. He has decades of experience in developing and delivering infrastructure at scale to support efficiency, agility, and security targets. His expertise includes driving cloud strategy through engineering and operationalizing infrastructure-at-scale solutions. Daniel he plays a pivotal role in leading the cloud strategy and implementation and is also responsible for the compute and storage infrastructure functions. He has led efforts to bring key cloud capabilities to the enterprise, with an emphasis on self-service, quality governance, automation, scalability, and resilience. His expertise lies in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the seamless delivery of robust, secure, and high-performance cloud-based services. In his most recent role leading Technology Shared Services, he implemented a 'treat technology as a product' mindset, resulting in quality product roadmaps, tangible key performance indicators, and year-over-year increases in employee satisfaction.

Chris Hennesey is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience driving transformation at the intersection of finance and technology. As a former Technology Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Capital One, he played a pivotal role in leading a cloud- enabled business transformation, reshaping how finance and technology align to drive agility and customer impact. Now an Enterprise Finance Strategist with AWS, Chris collaborates with executives globally to share insights on how the cloud can unlock speed, efficiency, and innovation. He emphasizes that successful CFOs must go beyond numbers, embedding themselves into the business to influence strategy and execution. Chris is passionate about helping organizations build strong business cases for cloud adoption and navigating the cultural shifts required for success. He advocates for revisiting assumptions throughout the journey and ensuring employees are empowered with the time and resources to reskill for a cloud-driven future. Chris holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech and an International M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was previously Director of Cloud Engineering at Capital One leading enterprise cloud operations within their Cloud Center of Excellence focused on migrating the early adopters of Amazon Web Services (AWS) into production. Drew founded Capital One's cloud engineering college that drove a large-scale talent transformation, and earned a patent for measuring cloud adoption and maturity. Drew is recognized by Amazon as an AWS Community Hero for his ongoing efforts to build inclusive and sustainable learning communities.
