What you'll learn
In this series of CryENGINE tutorials, we will talk about the fundamentals of using CryENGINE's terrain modeling tools. We'll start off with the basics of generating terrain and quickly move into how to use the different Modify Terrain tools available. Then, we'll move into learning how to block in a basic level using what we've learned. After our level is blocked in, we'll discuss all of the crucial terrain tools like the Layer Painter, which will allow us to add materials to our terrain, the Voxel Painter, which allows us to add interesting details, and vegetation which will bring our terrain to life.
