Splunk helps businesses turn raw data into valuable insights using it’s powerful, extensible platform. In this course, Splunk 9: Employing the Splunk Common Information Model (CIM), you’ll learn to identify data that needs to be normalized, use Splunk’s Common Information Model for that normalization, and then use that normalized data to build powerful reports and dashboards. First, you’ll explore normalizing data at search time. Next, you’ll understand data validation. Finally, you’ll learn how to use the CIM to create optimized reports and dashboards. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of the Splunk Common Information Model needed to normalize and optimize data in Splunk.
