This course will teach you how to use PowerShell for retrieving data from multiple sources, normalizing the data, and then working with security information and event management solutions, as well as visualizing security information.
What you'll learn
As a security professional, retrieving, managing, converting and analyzing security-related data can be a complex task. In this course, PowerShell Dataset and Application Integration, you’ll learn to collect, query, and import various types of security-related data, and then generate dashboards and charts to assist in identifying potential issues. First, you’ll explore retrieving data from various sources. Next, you’ll discover how to merge the various source data such as JSON, CSV, and XML into new datasets for easy querying and management. Finally, you’ll learn how to integrate this data with SIEM platforms as well as generate dashboards and charts. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of datasets and applications within PowerShell needed to collect, analyze, integrate, and visualize data using PowerShell.
About the author
