What you'll learn
On Thursday 13 June 2019, I had an anxiety attack in the workplace. I was overwhelmed, terrified and scared. On Monday 15 July 2019, I announced to my work I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when I was 3 years old - it was, and still is, the most important day of my life. Today I am embracing my journey and I want to share my story with you, but most importantly, I want to help people understand neurodiversity within the workplace; What does neurodiversity mean? What is the history of neurodiversity? And what benefits can neurodiverse people bring to the workplace? Join me for a conversation around the future of accessibility in the workplace, and how it must include neurodiverse perspectives. Are Australian and international companies doing enough to increase awareness around neurodiversity? Let's find out!
