Physical Security for the Pen Tester
This course will teach you all about physical security controls to protect not only your organization's people and facilities, but also protect your data housed in physical locations.
What you'll learn
Physical access can be as damaging, if not more damaging, than a virtual hack. In this course, Physical Security for the Pen Tester, you’ll learn to perform remote and on-site recon of a facility that you’ll be testing. First, you’ll explore the basics of physical penetration testing including planning, getting appropriate permission, and signed documentation. Next, you’ll discover ways to get information about the security controls companies may employ, 3rd-parties that may be used, and how to gain insider information. Finally, you’ll learn how to gain access, both during and after work hours. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills to scope out and conduct a physical penetration test needed to validate efficacy of existing physical security controls as well as areas of improvements or security gaps.
