ng-conf '19: Advanced Angular: Architecture Patterns and Concepts - Day 2
Advanced Angular: Architecture Patterns and Concepts - Day 2 | John Papa & Dan Wahlin
What you'll learn
A lot of questions typically come up as developers write application code. For example, are you following established best practices? How easy will it be to maintain and refactor the application in the future? If you’re starting a new application from scratch, what application architecture should be used? These types of questions are common when building any type of application especially when you’re focused on meeting a deadline.
While there’s a lot of information out there about the core concepts of Angular, very little focuses on architectural concepts, best practices, and how to solve some of the more challenging tasks that come up. That’s the purpose of this workshop.
Day 2 of the Angular Architecture and Best Practices workshop will provide guidance to help you think through the process of state management and discuss optimizations, running Angular in the cloud, and more.
Note: We recommend taking both Day 1 and Day 2 of the Angular Architecture workshops together for the best experience.
Day 2 topics include: Component communication Understanding RxJS subjects State management options NgRx and NgRx Data Performance Optimizations Running Angular anywhere with Docker Deploying Angular to the Cloud
Come and join us for a day of in-depth discussions and hands-on examples of different architecture concepts and best practices that can be applied to your Angular applications.
Bring your laptop, as you’ll be writing Angular code using what you learn in several hands-on exercises. This workshop will cover the latest version of Angular.
Pre-requisites: Angular fundamentals experience
