Microsoft Excel is a very popular spreadsheet program that is often used to manage data. This course will teach you how to use various Excel functions to prepare your data for further analysis by cleaning, transforming, and formatting the data.

What you'll learn

As you work with data in Microsoft Excel, you will often encounter data that is messy or incomplete. How do you prepare your raw data to make it easier to use? In this course, Data Preparation in Microsoft Excel, you will learn how to use a variety of Excel functions to prepare your data for further analysis by cleaning, transforming, and formatting the data.
First, you’ll learn how to add cells to and delete cells from an existing spreadsheet. Next, you’ll learn how to clean and transform your data. Finally, you’ll look at how to format your data and spreadsheet to make it easier to interpret. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the knowledge of Excel needed to ensure that your data is properly prepared for your next analytics project!
