Maintaining an app on-premises can consume a lot of your time, ensuring the app is secure and available while maintaining the workload it’s hosted on. In this course, Refactoring an App to Microsoft Azure Apps, you will learn what tools are needed to move the app and its data to Azure. First, you will assess and migrate an on-premises SQL database to an Azure SQL Database. Next, you will leverage Visual Studio to publish your on-prem app to Azure App Services while ensuring it connects with your database. Finally, you will set up continuous delivery, leveraging Microsoft Azure DevOps services to maintain your app while leveraging CI/CD pipelines. When you are finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge to move an on-premises app to Microsoft Azure App Service as well as a fundamental understanding of how DevOps works.
