Managing Database Instances with Oracle

In this course, Managing Database Instances with Oracle, you'll build upon what you’ve mastered in Understanding Database Architecture with Oracle. First, you'll start by reviewing what it means to STARTUP or SHUTDOWN an Oracle instance. Next, you’ll use the Automatic Diagnostic Repository (ADR) to access diagnostic information. After that, you’ll learn how to configure aspects of our Oracle system by setting and changing initialization parameters. Finally, you'l learn to mine the data dictionary for useful information. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the skills and knowledge necessary to work on the Oracle Instance.
