What you'll learn
Engagement management is one of the most critical skills for a penetration tester. It allows you to conduct an assessment following a professional approach. In this course, Engagement Management for CompTIA Pentest+, you’ll learn to identify testing requirements, assets in scope, legal boundaries, limitations, rules of engagement, and much more. This is the first course of the CompTIA Pentest+ certification series.
First, you’ll explore all the pre-engagement tasks in a penetration testing exercise. Next, you’ll discover how to gather all the information you need for the tests and how to plan and scope your assessment. Finally, you’ll learn how to write proper findings and recommendations for the findings you observed.
When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of engagement management needed for the CompTIA Pentest+ Exam (PT0-003).
