Developing with the SharePoint Framework and Angular
This course teaches the basics of creating web parts and extensions which allow you to change the way SharePoint functions for users. You will learn to scaffold a web part and extension with Yeoman, create user interfaces, and deploy to SharePoint.
What you'll learn
SharePoint by itself is a powerful tool for collaborating. It gets even more powerful when you learn how to customize it to do whatever you need it to do. In this course, Developing with the SharePoint Framework and Angular, you will learn to customize SharePoint by writing web parts and extensions for your sites. First, you will see how to scaffold a web part. Then, you will see how to use a variety of methods for manipulating your data in SharePoint using the Patterns and Practices library. Next, you will deploy the web part to SharePoint. Finally, you will learn how to scaffold and deploy an extension. By the end of the course, you will have a good understanding of what it takes to create and deploy SharePoint Framework web parts and extensions.
