What you'll learn
Animating deformers involves the primary incorporation of effectors and influences. We'll begin this tutorial by learning about some common influences that will allow us to dictate what is being effected on a mesh. Following this we'll learn about the different effectors that provide instructions on how to affect a mesh. Along the way we'll learn how each effector can deform a mesh in very specific ways by diving into it's properties. In addition, we'll also touch on how you can add a fall-off to fine tune the visual results of your deformation. By learning how the effectors and influences in MODO function, you'll be able to begin animating deformations on your own projects. Software required: MODO 701.
