Compositing an Animated Poster with Live Footage in After Effects

In this series of After Effects tutorials, we will go through the process for animating this band poster and composite it into a live action plate. We'll start out by going through the steps of building up our poster's composition to make it interesting and appealing. We then discuss the timing of our messaging, so that it has plenty of time to be read, while still holding the attention of our viewer. From that point, we move into the compositing phase of our course where we slowly begin to add effects to integrate the poster into our scene. We go over some simple motion tracking and rotoscoping techniques as well as some great tips for color correction. Software required: After Effects CS6.
