Cisco Enterprise Networks: First Hop Redundancy Protocols
In this course, you'll learn how to configure a switch to function as a router. You'll also learn how to configure the first hop redundancy protocols HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP. Finally, you'll learn how to configure port mirroring using SPAN and RSPAN.
What you'll learn
For networks that require high availability, first-hop redundancy protocols are a must. In this course, Cisco Enterprise Networks: First Hop Redundancy Protocols, you’ll get hands-on experience learning first-hop redundancy protocols. First, you'll learn the Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP). Next, you'll discover the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) and Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP). Finally, you'll explore how to capture network traffic using Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN) and Remote Switched Port Analyzer (RSPAN). By the end of this course, you’ll have a solid grasp of first-hop redundancy protocols.
