What you'll learn
Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) is designed for innovation and performance. Cisco UCS combines computing, networking, and storage infrastructure with management and virtualization to offer exceptional speed, simplicity, and scalability. In this course, Cisco Data Center Core: Configuring Compute, you're going to examine the Cisco UCS compute and infrastructure solution. First, you'll explore the Cisco UCS B-Series blade servers and Cisco UCS C-Series rack servers deployed in modern data centers. Next, you'll learn how Cisco UCS fabric interconnects provide both network connectivity and management capabilities. You’ll also learn how abstracted server properties allow you to move operating systems or hypervisors from server to server with minimal downtime and no need for additional configuration. Finally, you'll discover operations, administration, and management functionality of Cisco UCS Manager. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the skills and knowledge needed to understand the Cisco UCS fabric solution and deploy policy in Cisco data centers.
