What you'll learn
Establishing and maintaining cloud governance is an imperative to successful cloud consumption that meets business requirements. In this course, CCSP: Cloud Governance, Data Privacy, and Audit, you will learn how to use governance to align with business goals. First, you will create policies and define and assign roles and responsibilities. Next, you will learn to articulate legal requirements and unique risks within the cloud environment. Finally, you will explore how to understand data privacy issues and implement audit frameworks to ensure you are compliant with laws and regulations. When you’re finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to prove due care and due diligence in cloud consumption activities.
About the author
Dr. Andrews’ technology career spans three decades. His roles included network manager New York City Department of Education, BMG Direct senior director of IT, and BNY Mellon dean of technology. His doctoral research at Teachers College Columbia found that critical thinking skills thrive in environments that are supportive of five essential elements in the mind of a critical thinker.

Other activities include: Google K-12 Think Tank adviser facilitating design thinking sessions at Google campuses in Texas, New York, and California. Manages leadership training and organizational transformation. Co-authored two (ISC)2 certification publications: CISSP/CCSP. Works with Suffolk County Deputy Commissioner Mention-Lewis and court judge Camacho in reducing prisoner recidivism. Facilitates transformational storytelling and design thinking sessions addressing social-cultural barriers and workplace integration issues.
