This course will give you a high-over understanding of what Azure DevOps Server is and how it similar products in the same space and its core capabilities. You will also get an overview of the infrastructure needed for hosting Azure DevOps Server.

As developing software is complex enough by itself, it’s important you can rely on tooling to support you when you perform your work. One tool that can do this, is Azure DevOps Server, the self-hosted variation of Azure DevOps Services. In this course, Azure DevOps Server 2022: The Big Picture, you’ll learn what Azure DevOps Server is and to evaluate if it fits your needs. First, you’ll explore what problem Azure DevOps Server solves and some important characteristics that differentiate it from other products. Next, you’ll discover the core capabilities of Azure DevOps to learn how it works. Finally, you’ll get pointers on how to install and deploy Azure DevOps server in a number of different configurations. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Azure DevOps Server needed to decide on using Azure DevOps Server or not, and if you do, on how to proceed.
