Use Azure Arc to Onboard a Virtual Machine
In this lab, you will learn how to onboard an “on-premises” virtual machine into Azure Arc. You will use SSH to connect to a Linux VM, run the onboarding script generated from the Azure Arc service, and view the onboarded VM in the Azure Arc portal.

Challenge
Generate a script from Azure Arc
Using the credentials provided in the lab page, login to the Azure portal and generate a single server script in Azure Arc.

Connect and Onboard the VM into Azure Arc
Connect to the “on-premises VM” using the credentials provided in the lab page.
Once connected, run the script (as admin or using sudo) that has been generated from Azure Arc. Please note, you’ll need an SSH client to make the connection.

Verify the VM Has Been Onboarded into Azure Arc
Once you have a success message from the output of the script, return to the Azure Arc page and verify that the VM has been successfully onboarded.
