    Edit the Group Policy

    Edit a Group Policy in main-vm:

    1. Rename the default to TestGPO
    2. Confirm the change in PowerShell
    3. Remove authenticated users from security filtering

  2. Challenge

    Prepare test-vm and Validate the GPO Settings

    Validate that the GPO settings are correct and prepare test-vm by promoting it to a domain controller and connecting it to the corp.sandynetworking01.com domain:

    1. Promote test-vm to a domain controller
    2. Connect test-vm to corp.sandynetworking01.com
    3. Verify that the Test GPO is visible and listed under Filtering: Denied (Security)

  3. Challenge

    Add a Computer and Verify

    Add test-vm under the security filter for the Test GPO policy. Once that's complete, verify in test-vm that the updates were successful.

  4. Challenge

    Add a WMI Filter for Windows 2019 and Earlier

    Jump back into main-vm and create a WMI filter for Windows 2019 and earlier. Verify that this update took effect in test-vm.
