Deploying Containers to Azure App Service
In this hands-on lab, you are working as a cloud engineer for Tech Tangos, an up-and-coming computer repair company. You’ve been asked to deploy a containerized website to Azure. You’ll use the Azure portal to deploy a containerized website to an Azure App Service to show off containers to your company and allow Tech Tangos to have a file browser web application.

Create a Linux Azure App Service
- Pick the Docker container option during creation instead of code.
- Make sure to select the basic pricing plan for the App Service plan! Otherwise, your lab may get terminated for going over resource limits.

Deploy a Containerized Web App to the App Service
- During the App Service creation or after the app has been created, choose Docker Hub as your image source and paste in the following Docker container to deploy: https://hub.docker.com/r/filebrowser/filebrowser.
