    Connect to new-vm

    1. Set the DNS server to main-vm.
    2. Join the corp.sandynetworking01.com domain.
    3. Restart the virtual machine.

  2. Challenge

    Install the AD DS Role and Promote the Domain Controller

    1. Connect to main-vm, and add the newly created server.
    2. Add the AD DS domain services role for the new server.
    3. Promote the new server to a domain controller.

  3. Challenge

    Connect to main-vm and Configure the Environment

    1. Log in to the main-vm using RDP.
    2. Install the AD DS server role in Server Manager.
    3. Promote the server to a domain controller in a new forest.
      • Add a new forest with the root domain name corp.sandynetworking01.com.
      • Use the NetBIOS domain name CORP.
      • Default database locations are fine.
