Creating a Workgroup in Athena
In this lab, we will be creating a an Athena workgroup to allow you to control who has access to your datasets and searches. This is actively important to allow and disallow people to see your searches.

Create an IAM Policy
1.) Get to the IAM dashboard. 2.) Create a new IAM policy for Athena allowing, reading, writing and tagging. 3.) Add it to the created workgroup. 4.) Name the policy. 5.) Tag the policy.

1.) Navigate to the Athena dashboard. 2.) Create a new Athena workgroup.

Validate Functionality
If you have everything connected correctly:
1.) In the Athena console, use the Workgroup option on the upper right to choose a workgroup. 2.) If the Workgroup-Name Settings dialog box appears, choose Acknowledge.
