About the author
For as long as I can remember I've been tearing things apart to see how they work. Gadgets and tech are in my blood, and as I've grown I've discovered that one of my greatest joys is sharing that passion with others. I've been in IT for over 15 years, doing everything from helpdesk tech to server and database administration. In recent years my focus has been on databases and the cloud. I think that data is the fundamental component of all IT and that cloud technology is taking it to awesome new heights. I also enjoy DevOps, and particularly using scripting languages like PowerShell to automate all the things. Outside of work I love to spend time with my family, volunteer with my church, and read or play video games. I love a good adventure whether it's in book, movie, or video game form.
