What you'll learn
PowerShell is a versatile and powerful scripting language for a wide variety of administrative tasks. Its well-planned structure and library of modules makes it easy to both learn and implement. In this course we give you a crash course on PowerShell. You will learn how to install it, become familiar with the command structure and syntax, gain the ability to extend it through modules, and understand how to automate tasks with scripts.

About the author
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to technology, eager to soak up everything I could learn about it. Over my 20-year career—spanning roles from helpdesk to server and database administration—I’ve discovered that one of my greatest joys is sharing that passion with others. These days, my focus is on data, which I believe is the cornerstone of all technology, driving innovation across every area of IT. I’m also a big fan of automation and love finding ways to streamline processes with tools like PowerShell. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering with my church, and diving into a good book, movie, or video game. Whether on the page or the screen, I love a good adventure.
