Kari Harbath

Professionally, Kari has been on the tech scene for ten years: with experiences ranging from social media marketing to assisting with content management on Pluralsight's own platform. Personally, Kari is mom to a disabled toddler, Sloan, who is diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome and profoundly DeafBlind. Not long after Sloan’s birth, both Kari's mom and her husband died within the same year. As Kari’s life transformed in difficult ways she never expected – she found that there truly is healing through advocacy. Kari aims to cross her professional and personal experiences: destigmatizing mental health issues in the workplace, openly support others on their own grief journey, and advocating for disability rights and resources. Kari has been featured on several podcasts and was the recipient of the 2020 Upworthy Lead with Love award.
