Erik Engheim is a principle consultant at Sixty North, where he does Julia training and consulting. Erik has held various roles from software developer to architect over the last two decades using a variety of programming languages: C/C++, Java, C#, Objective-C and Swift. However for the last 7 years Julia has been his passion. He is the author of the book: Julia for Beginners. Erik has worked in a variety of industries: Oil & Gas, Fintech, Video conferencing and IT consulting. Erik has a passion for communication and speaks at meetups and conferences about anything from crypto currency, UX, programming languages to how to optimize usage of CPU cache.
