Emmanuel Segui

Emmanuel Segui is a data scientist and instructor of biostatistics at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. He regularly teaches courses in data science with R to medical students. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from France and a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology with a concentration on research methods, training & development, and advanced statistics in R. Emmanuel has co-authored several professional posters and published articles in peer-reviewed academic journals such as MedEdPublish. He is an R enthusiast and is using his expertise and innovative approach to create data pipelines to streamline academic research processes. He delivers lectures on statistical concepts (descriptive and inferential, machine learning, graphical presentation), and provides insight and support to students, faculty and medical doctors in research design, data management, statistical analysis and reporting.
