SOLIDWORKS Simulation - Dynamics

by Arvind Sivarama Krishnan

Dynamic Analysis gives you the output of your design to a vibration load. This course will teach you how to set up and run a linear dynamic and non-linear dynamic analysis. Software required: SOLIDWORKS.

What you'll learn

This is an advanced course that builds on the concepts developed in a Linear Static Analysis. In this course, SOLIDWORKS Simulation - Dynamics, you'll learn how to set up and run a linear dynamic and non-linear dynamic analysis. First, you'll get a better understanding on how the solver works behind the scenes. Next, you'll explore additional concepts like damping, time steps, and new post processing options. Finally, you'll learn about non-linear dynamic analysis and key differences with linear dynamics are highlighted and an example problem is solved. By the end of this course, you'll be able to successfully set up and run a linear dynamic and a non-linear dynamic analysis. Software required: SOLIDWORKS.
