Scott Forsyth

Scott Forsyth is a Microsoft MVP for IIS/ASP.NET and an ASPInsider with strengths in server administration using Windows Server, IIS, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Hyper-V and PowerShell. He has co-authored two technical books: Professional IIS 7 and Professional IIS 8 and is a regular speaker at code camps, user groups, and technical conferences. Scott is co-founder and chief systems architect of Vaasnet, a web services company that provides instant-on, preconfigured virtual machines that can easily be customized for training classes, development environments, or corporate needs. Additionally Scott offers consulting services for the web platform on the Microsoft technology stack and is actively involved in the Microsoft community in the forums and user groups. Scott, though born and raised in Canada, currently lives in North Carolina with his wife Melissa and two teenage children Joel and Alisha.
