.NET 3.0 Training with Keith Brown

If you or somebody you know is looking for a quick start learning .NET 3.0 (WCF, WF, WPF, and Information Card technology) I'll be teaching our Applied .NET 3.0 course in a suburb of Boston, MA on August 14. The class runs Tuesday through Friday. It's a few weeks away, so sign up today!

I'm really excited about this class, as we've completely reworked our Workflow and security discussions, which of course are my specialty. We have close to an entire day dedicated to the claims-based authentication and authorization story that is going to be so important going forward for both information cards and federated identity scenarios. You'll get hands-on experience building web services and ASP.NET applications that use claims to authorize access to resources. You'll also learn about claims transformation, see ADFS in action, and learn about the important role that security token services (STS) play.

Hope to see you there!

Hey Keith...!!

I attended your .net 3.0 security training in the Microsoft Charlotte Office a while back...

I am a developer evangelist and this month I am doing a series on Identity Management for Developers (some of it based on your white paper on the subject). so... the question now: would you be interested/willing to be a guest for a 1.5 hours (or less) webcast on the subject? our team focus on federal (mil and civ), state-local-gov, and edu)

if so, let me know by emaling me to joel.reyes@microsoft.com -- I can then tell you which part of your article is included in parts II and III.

thanks!!!
