Bots have broken our CAPTCHA image

Well, that didn't take long. And what's worse is the guy who has broken it has decided that he's going to teach us a lesson apparently. I've deleted about 500 of his comments over the last couple of days with a few calls to SQL sprocs, but the deluge of mail that all of our bloggers are getting from this is really annoying. Time to implement rel=nofollow and an URL blacklist I guess. If anyone has suggestions, I'm open to them :-)

This method;
http://netnerds.net/articles/462.aspx

is by FAR the most effective method I have found/used.

My spam came to a complete and (so far (5 months)) permanent halt...

Check it out.

Here is another method (blocks the post if over a certain number of URLs)
http://ianwij.com/weblog/archive/2005/01/10/Preventing_dotText_Comment_Spam.aspx

There are a few others that I can't seem to find the link for right now, but those two are probably your best bet...
