Karen Gettman, the editor of the Addison Wesley / Microsoft .NET book series took some of her current authors out for a very tasty dinner at Seven-17, an upscale San Diego restaurant just a walk away from the convention center. Thanks, Karen! Fritz, Aaron, Don and I got some face time to discuss the future of Pluralsight during the meal; there are some really exciting times ahead for us. Seems like everyone we talk to is very excited about our new venture, and I've even lined up some work for us already.
My preconference session on writing secure code (Sunday) was a big hit according to the evals - thanks to all who attended (click here for the demos). Tomorrow morning I'm doing a breakout session on the same topic.
Well, we've been up late for the last few days (really late) getting our web site ready to go. Sorry for such a short first entry, but whew! I've got to get some sleep. Stay tuned on this channel for some great security information!
