  • Don't miss the next Windows Mobile Webcast... Unit Testing for Mobile Devices: http://msevents.microsoft.com/CUI/WebCastEventDetails.aspx?EventID=1032382824&EventCategory=4&culture=en-US&CountryCode=US.

Thanks to everyone who attended today's session EAA401 - “Developing Loosely Connected Smart Device Apps with .NET CF 2.0 and SQL Server 2005“. I really appreciate everyone sticking around through the end even though we went over time a bit.

Here's the files from today

I just found out that the lab HOL306 - “Selecting the Appropriate Data Synchronization Technology for Your Windows Mobile Application Using SQL Server Compact Edition” was canceled for some reason. I don't what the story is there... that lab was completed and submitted well over 6 weeks ago. When I get back home next week, I'll post the materials for the lab here so you can work on the lab at your leisure.

I have a podcast up describing an architecture for handling occasionally connected systems here:

http://udidahan.weblogs.us/2007/04/17/podcast-occasionally-connected-smart-clients-and-adonet-sync-services/

In it I discuss some of the problems found when using high granularity solutions like data synchronization.

I think you mean <em>Loosely</em> connected, not <em>Loosley</em> connected :)
