patterns & practices Goes Mobile!

The Microsoft patterns & practices team recently kicked off a project to help architects and developers design and build mobile LOB solutions.   The Mobile Baseline Architecture Toolkit will include a prescriptive architecture, application blocks, and other guidance/tools for developers targeting Windows Mobile 5.0, .NET Compact Framework 2.0, and SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition.   The team provides weekly drops to a rapidly growing community on GotDotNet

If you’re serious about building mobile enterprise solutions using .NET Compact Framework, join the community, download the latest pre-release drop, and start contributing feedback today!

How do I download the kit and join the community?

You can join a patterns & practices community to ask questions, provide feedback, and connect with other users to share ideas. Every patterns & practices release is available for review, in community, long before it is finalized and released. This community provides a feedback mechanism early in the engineering cycle and helps the patterns & practices team ensure that each deliverable meets the needs of its intended audience.
