A great start to friday -- A good walk, The Proclaimers, Runrig, and Buffett

I recently took up nordic walking as a way for me to get some exercise on the way to work.  So far I've enjoyed it, and it has taken about 6 minutes off my walk to work (bringing it down to 19 minutes). Today was an especially good day for this -- it was cool, sunny, and quiet when I headed in.  A very pleasant walk.

And now I've been in work for a bit, gotten through the morning mail backlog, and started on the day.  Getting in early and having offices means that it is pretty quiet here.  So I've been listening to my 'get going' morning fare which end with three that I really like: Joyful Kilmarnock Blues, which I've mentioned before, and Loch Lomond by Runrig, and Far Side of the World by Buffett.

Now for the rest of the day! :)

Hi Jim!

What is "nordic walking"? I walked home from work (Siemens in Oslo Norway) this Thuesday. It took me over 50 minutes. The sub had stopped. Is this "nordic walking"? :o)

I'm currently on a WinFX/.Net 3.0 course about WFC/Indigo and transactions. Now the speaker is talking about transactions while he is smashing his hand in "my" LCD-monitor... :o)
