Be careful not to mistake the xsl:copy-of with xsl:clone-of or you'll wind up with twins or worse ;-)

Careful with the VB code, for the gender attribute might be deterministic. :)

I sure hope the instance XML document is structured with the root element being "family", or February 28th could be an awful busy day :)
