I received a fed-ex package of 6 shiny new books today!
With a box of 18 more coming that I will bring to TechEd Barcelona next week. I'm very pleased with the size, print, and appearance of the final book - kudos to Addison Wesley. I have to say, there's nothing quite like holding the final copy of a book you worked on for so long in your hands...

Nice. Can't wait for Amazon to ship mine. Could you take a shot of both version comparing the thickness? I know this is not necessarily a replacement for the v1 book :)

The page count is 345 vs. 395 for the first book, plus the pages are slightly smaller. I like the size of the book actually - as I was describing it to a colleague I compared it to the thinkpad X60 versus a T40 for the first book :)

It should be any day now, Amazon has it listed as tomorrow (Nov. 3).

Does this use C# and VB .NET/VS 2005 in the examples and or could you also recommend a companion for your book. Also, can you recommend any webcasts/books on AJAX. Thank you very much Fritz.
